Here is everything you need to know about creating a WordPress website.
When I started building websites back in 2013 everything was customized for developers which were very hard for a beginner like me to navigate through without any development knowledge or education background. But luckily now anyone can create a website within 30 minutes.

Purchasing domain & hosting
To any basic website development process the most important elements are Domain & Hosting which is key in terms of your search engine rankings and website speed. There are hundreds of services available to purchase Hosting services. In most hosting services you will get a free domain with the hosting. As per my experience, I can recommend Hostinger & Blue Host which I believe has the easiest control panel to navigate through. You can choose any service per your liking.

Creating WordPress CMS through CPanel
After you purchase the hosting service login into your account,
Step 01: Select manage under your domain name select manage (This will navigate to hosting account)
Step 02: Under the look for the category website and select auto-installer
Step 03: Now select WordPress
Step 04: Enter the details and click on install
Congratulations! You have successfully installed WordPress on your website. It is simple as that.
Installing a theme (Free & Paid)
Here you have two choices,
- Select a free theme and build it from the ground up
- Purchase a pre-built theme and launch the web in 2 minutes (You can purchase themes from Theme forest)
WordPress dashboard comes with a default theme you need to change that. Here are the Methods.
Method 1:
Go to Appearance > Themes > Add themes > Select one of the free themes available
Method 2:
Go to Appearance > Themes > Upload Theme > Upload your purchased theme
All the plugins and necessary files will be uploaded automatically and you will be given the instructions to install the plugins and you are all set to go. Select the demo data and enjoy.
